Show THE Page Six RECEPTION HONORS SANTA SUN-ADVOCAT- E CLAUS TO NEWLYWEDS BEAUTICIANS STAGE SUCCESSFUL IIAIR STYLE REVUE The very latest in hair styling was featured in the parade of styles revue sponsored by the Carbon County Beauticians association on Wednesday night of last week at the civic auditorium. Some forty-thre- e models portrayed the most becoming coiffures for evening, afternoon, in town and at home. Styles for teen agers and the very young moppets found favor in the revue. Preceding the show, Mrs. Eleanor Rehor introduced Mrs. Mayme Hansen, newly elected state president of the Utah Beauticians association and Mrs. Florence Rich, the new 3rd vice president of the state organization. Greetings were, extended by Mrs. Emma Lambson, general chairman of the revue. Don Poppleton of Salt Lake City and commentator stressed short hair in his opening stating that long hair is as out of style as the very short dresses of a few years back. As each model entered he commented on the special features of her hair. The use of the new hair rinses was emphasized to bring out added luster. Favors were given to everyone attending and valuable gifts from the beauty supply houses in Salt Lake and Denver were given away as draw prizes.
