Mr. and Mrs. George J. Wood S-- are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary with open house at their home at 136 West Forest, this afternoon (IFeb. 25) from two until six oclock. George Wood was born at Willard, a son of Josia and Clare Wood on June 25, 1879 and Mrs. Wood, also bom at Willard on December 17, 1881 is the .daughter of Daniel and Sophonia Woodland.
