S church in 1836 She later moved to Nauvoo m. m where her mother died in hi 1844 Sh She was married Juh 19 1849 to I William Carrol McClellan a member of the Mormon n battalion She and her husband came to Salt Lake valley as ns pioneers in October 1850 arriving with William Snows Snow's company Their first child a daughter was only 6 weeks old when they began the trek After residing in Salt Lake for a year the family moved to Payson In 1851 and resided d there for 25 years At the request of Brigham Young t they ey moved to Sunset Sunset- Ariz in 1877 where they took an nn active part in building that community Mrs McClellan also had resided in Mexico during the civil war of 1912 and a short time later returned to Payson Pason where until 1916 1016 when she again went vent to Mexico For the past four lour years she had resided resided re re- resided sided in Salt Lake with her daughter Mrs Cynthia L L.
