Day, Sr., leaves next Friday for a short mission to the North-Western North-Western States. 'A dance was given in his honor last Friday night, the proceeds of which went to assist him in his field of labor. The 5th grade of the public school which he has taught the past year tendered him a surprise Tuesday afternoon and presented pre-sented him with a Bible and a Book of Mormon. A reception was given him at the home of E. A. Day, Jr., Tuesday evening by the officers and teachers of the Sabbath school. The Ladies Literary club met at the home of Mrs. Pauline Olson, Thursday the 27th . An interesting meeting was held. Our new meeting house is nearing completion. It is expected to be finished by June and be ready in i which to hold the next quarterly conference.
