I A baby girl was born to Mr. ar-.d Mrs. Vernilc Jensen, Mar. lath. A baby boy was born to Mr. ancl Mrs. M. C. Draper, Mar. 19th. Mrs. J. P. Peterson, who has been sick for some time, is improving. Chas. Musig of Mt. Pleasant was in Moroni the latter part of the week taking orders for trees. The High School and Grammar Grades of the public school enjoyed April 1st very much. About ten o'clock they had all the teachers locked up in the office and the students stu-dents all formed in lines at the school house, with the High School band at the head and the public school band band at the ' rear, they marched through the town until noon.- Then they went up in the hills and spent the rest of the afternoon. Monday, Frank Jrnsen and Jeffer-sen Jeffer-sen Oisen went to Salt Lake City. Mr. and 'Mrs. .Royal Lauritzen came down irom Ogden Tuesday. They intend to spend the summer here. Miss Eva Livingston of Fountain Green and John E. Jensen of Moroni were married in the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple Wednesday the 26th. They will make their home at Moroni. A farewell party was given in honor hon-or of David Nicklesen Sunday. He leaves soon on a mission for the L. D. S. Church. Mrs. Hans Brotherson of Mount Pleasant was visiting with her mother, Mrs. Scena Simonsen, last week. Mr. and Mrs. James Syme went to Salt Lake Tuesday to visit with her daughter. |
