Rellevlag men for the armed forces, manjrjwomen art now working work-ing in .surface plants of metal mining min-ing companies throughout Utah. Notably among these Is "the umber um-ber now employed at the -Magna and Arthur plants of the Utah Copper Cop-per where they are helping in the production on nearly one-third of the nation's copper. Approximately 200 women are employed at mine. mills and railroad of the company. At Tooele, the . International - Smelting" & Refining company hai employed approximately 50 women at the company's , smelting plants. These women are doing work that is vital to the war. While It is the first time that the fairer sex has invaded this masculine endeavor, en-deavor, superintendents' report that they are doing their Job very satisfactorily. |
