When Carol discovered the theft of $180 worth of boxes of cookies, she could only think of the disappointed look on their faces and the loss of the money their troop realizes from the sale. By word of mouth about the plight, personnel of Depot Supply Division dug in their pockets and came up with the total amount and presented it to the leader of the troop. Miss Benson ready for the 1973 Miss Utah Teen-Agis one of the finalists. er FINALIST Kathleen Diane Benson, 17 year-ol- d daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don B. Benson, is a finalist in the 1973 Miss Utah Tenn-Age- r Pageant tonight, tomorrow and Sunday in Salt Lake City. Her father works in the Aircraft Maintenance Plastic Division. The pageant is preliminary to the Miss National Teen-Age- r Pageant in September at Atlanta. Miss Benson's hobbies include commercial art, fashion modeling, fashion designing, music and volunteer work. General Poe expressed his desire that the cadets take ffull advantage of their stay to learn as much as possible about the Force while they are here. The first and second ckssmen 'seniors and juniors will get a realistic view of their future careers by performing duties typically assigned to junior officers. The know ledge gained of the many leadership, human relations, and management problems encountered by junior officers will provide additional motivation to the cadets to make a full time career of Air Force service. Upon completion of their studies at the Academy, these cadets will graduate with bachelor of science degrees and commissions as second lieutenants in the regular Air Force. Each cadet will be assigned to a junior officer sponsor during the TDY assignments with the 1SV) Aircrew Training and Test V.irg In his welcoming remarks Col. William K. The home life of Charles and Beryl Crippen was reduced from a Whirlwind status of activity to a sudden quiet within two and a half months as three of their four sons were married and two of them with a younger brother, Scott, 18, left for Arizona. Son, Craig was married in March to Carol Canady, Bruce to Sherrry Whitehouse in May. Charles, who married Joan Wood in April, set up his own home and works in R & M at Hill. Father. Charles, finds the grass growing just like he left it but finds it easier to get in his garage with only two of the former eight cars 'and fixing' around.
