Show City Council Notes Meeting of or January City Attorney Dilworth Woolley met with the Council to discuss final settlement settlement set- set lement of the J J. J W. W Fox Reservoir project with Manti City He reviewed the contract Manti City had made with Mr Fox and payments which had been made to him as well as offers f ers I Ifor for or settlement He also told of the recent court hearing of the case before before be- be fore bre Judge Hoyt of Nephi On December Attorney Woolley received a letter from Mr Fox stating stating stat- stat ing ng he would settle with Manti City for 2500 plus the 1700 already paid him lim Mr Woolley said that fo forms s shad had lad been forwarded to him to sign and that as soon as they were re returned returned returned re- re turned the transaction could be closed closed clos clos- ed providing the council approved this his offer Upon a motion by Councilman Council Council- man Stanford Madsen the council voted to settle at Mr Foxs Fox's terms Farewells and Welcomes Said Mayor Jensen and members of f the Council expressed ed their appreciation tion for or the association they had had with outgoing councilmen C C. R.
