Show Page 12 THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Volume VI, Issue V June 15, 2002 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A RESOLUTION OF INTENT FOR ANNEXATION HAS BEEN ADOPTED Public notice is hereby given on May 15, May 23, and June 1, that the Town Council of Huntsville, Weber County has adopted a Resolution of intent for annexation of the road west of the Huntsville Town Boundaries leading to, and also including the Huntsville Cemetery, into the Town. The Town Council adopted the Resolution on April 18th 2002. This Resolution is proposing the annexation of properties contiguous to Huntsville Town along the Western Border. More accurately described as: 45*03’00” E 216.80 feet, 3. S 89*44’00” E 301.00 feet, 4. N 00*12’00” W 32.25 feet, 5. E 211.97 feet, 6. S 48*15’00” E 326.80 feet, thence S 00*12’00” W 33.00 feet, Thence S 12*00’00” W 57.39 feet, to or near an existing fence post, Thence the following 2 courses along or near an existing fence line, 1. S 62*48’00” W 211.99 feet, 2. N 89*42’00” W 260.70 feet, to the point of beginning, said tract of land being surveyed, the record of which is filed in the Weber County Surveyor’s Office, record of survey plat files. Said plot is hereby referenced and made a part hereof. (Containing 8.5768 acres, more or less.) Legal Description of Cemetery Legal Description of Road Leading to Cemetery A parcel of land being a part of an entire tract of land, situated in the SE quarter of Section 11 and the NE quarter of Section 14, Township 6 N, Range 1 E, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, in Weber County, in the State of Utah. The boundaries of said parcel of land are described as follows, having a basis of bearing using the State Plane Coordinate System as maintained by theWeber County Surveyor of South 02*48’23” W, between the BLM Monument representing the NE corner of said Section 14, and the Weber County Triangulation Station known as Point “Olge”, said NE corner having Weber County NAD83 State Plane Grid Foot Coordinates of N=3620121.4368 and E=1558854.8852: Beginning at a point know as the SE corner of the SW quarter of the SE quarter of said Section 11, (the E 16th corner between Sections 11 & 14 of said township and range) in deed document recorded in Book 131 page 279, the best evidence of said point of record being surveyed and identified at or near an existing fence corner which is located 1320.5 feet N 89*42’00” W from the NE corner of said Section 14: Running the following 2 courses along or near an existing fence line, 1. S46*53’00” W 186.10 feet, 2. N 89*42’00” W 404.00 feet, Thence N 05*51’00” E 227.00 feet, Thence the following 6 courses along or near an existing fence line, 1. N 29*56’00” E 135.60 feet, 2. S 89*48’48” E 433.27 feet, 2. Along the arc of a curve to the right 257.54 feet, with a radius of 535.55 feet, having a chord bearing and distance of S 76*02’13” E 255.06 feet, 3. Along the arc of a reverse curve to the left 302.00 feet, with a radius of 621.82 feet, having a chord bearing and distance of S 76*10’26” E 299.04 feet, 4. S 87*33’17” E 970.06 feet, 5. Along the arc of a curve to the right 244.16 feet, with a radius of 543.69 feet, having a chord bearing and distance of S 74*41’22” E 242.12 feet, 6. Along a compound curve to the right 400.76 feet, with a radius of 3649.31 feet, having a chord bearing and distance of S 58*40’41” E 400.56 feet, 7. Along the arc of a compound curve to the right 294.29 feet, with a radius of 1010.48 feet having a chord bearing and distance of S 47*11’19” E 293.25 feet, 8. S 38*50’43” E 212.59 feet, more or less, to the existing Corporate Limits of the Town of Huntsville, being the point of terminus. All annexation paperwork is available for inspection and copying at the Huntsville Town Hall, 7309 East 200 South Huntsville. Huntsville may annex the areas described in the Resolution unless, within 30 days a written protest to the Resolution is filled with the Weber County Boundary Commission at 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, UT 84401 and a copy of the protest is delivered to the Huntsville Town Clerk, P.O. Box 267 Huntsville, UT 84317. The last date to file a protest is June 6, 2002, at 5:00 p.m. (This notice was also published in the OGDEN VALLEY NEWS on May 15 & June 1, and in the Ogden Standard Examiner on May 23, 2002.)
