Show Citizen, Press, Review- - Wed., March 291995 Rhea C. Pulham Rhea Christensen Featherstone Pulham, 73, Lehi, died Friday March 24, 1995 while visiting her son in uauas, Texas. She was born April 9, 1921 in Fountain Green, a daugh- ter of Seymour and LaVar Luzon Elvira Felt i Christensen. Her family moved to Provo where her father taught math at Provo High School and was later the Provo Postmaster. After graduation she followed her sister, Francelle, to Washington, D.C., and worked as a for the State Department. clerk-typi- st She married Fred Garff Featherstone Nov. 1, 1940. When he died on Nov. 7, 1947, she returned with their three children to Provo. She worked as the secretary to the Medical Director of the Utah State Hospital from 1950 to 1952. She was a receptionist to Dr. Eddington at the Lehi Hospital from 1952 to 1957. She married Montague Arthur Pulham July 8, 1953 in Manti. They resided in Lehi, combining his 10 children, her three and their two into a single family. The only steps in this family lead to the front door." He died Aug. 12,1991. Rhea graduated from the Utah Trade Tech LPN Nursing program Cutler and Millie Almeda H a r m o n Henderson. He married Letha Gleed in September 1927 in Preston, Idaho. They were later divorced. He married Mary Eva - Our beloved mother and grandmother, Susie Amanda Morkve Palmer, 88, Lehi, died March 24, 1995atLarsen's Ferrill Dee Wayman in 1964, then entered theHolyCross Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1968. She worked at uie American Fork Hospital as a staff nurse, head nurse of CCU and supervisor, retiring in October 1984. Organizingfamilyget-together- s, planning and cooking for her loved ones, "club" and the single adult group were the joys of her life. Easter egg hunts and THE Christmas party were initiated by her and have become family traditions. Mystery novels, attending plays, teaching the grandkids to play cards were legendary pleasures. She is survived by her children: Clive F. (Dora) Pulham; Laurine (Aaron) Zumbrennan; Bessie (Roland) Webb; Mont D. (Betty) Pulham; Colene (Ernest) Smith; Marvin Pulham; Mary Ann (Gerald) Jacobs; David (Kate) Featherstone; Mark A. (Gay) Pulham; Barrett W. (Cathy)Pulh am; daughters-in-laCarol Pulham, Barbara Pulham; Emery Jensen; 61 son-in-la- grandchildren; n; 10 a sister, Francelle (LeGrand) Dunkley. She was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 31, at 11 a.m. in the Lehi llth-Seg- o Lily Ward Chapel, 880 N. 700 East. Artie Henderson Artie Harmon Henderson, 85, passed away March 22, 1995 in the American Fork Hospital. He was born June 14, 1909 in Clifton, Idaho, son of Marion Susie M. Palmer Page 9 Hatch. She died Aug. 10, 1961. He married Zelda Terry Oct. 24, 1994. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; two sons: Artie J. (Carol)Henderson, West Valley City; LaVan G. He was elected student body president of Pleasant Grove High School in 1938. He later graduated from the University of Utah. Irene J. Smith Irene J. Smith, 84, Lindon, died March 23, 1995 at her home of cancer. She was born June 12, 1910 in South Jordan, a daughter of Osv tug 0r car and Ethel Lloyd Johnson. He was a accountant and owned and operated a motel, restaurant and office supply in Cody, Wyoming. He was later employed as an accountant at Walker Oil Co. of Pleasant Grove. He served in the U.S. Navy for seven years during World War II. He was a Navy pilot stationed at Pearl Harbor during the air raid in 1941. He loved to fly throughout his adult life. He enjoyed walking and gardening, and all kinds ofcultural activities. He is survived by his wife of Lindon; two daughters and two sons: Susan (David) Anderson, Salt Lake City; Linda J. (Mike)Ballman, Phoenix; Val C. (Kathy) Walker, Sandy; Perry A. (Kim) Walker, Indio, Calif.; James K. (Sonji) Walker, Pleass ant Grove; three and one Jay R. (Carol) Walker; Karen (Roy) Wall; Jimmy Lee Walker and Scott Walker, all of Pleasant Grove; 29 grandchildren; two a sister, Lona (Glen) Rhodes, American She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed doing temple work. .
