Earnest-include- Thespians place at drama meets Lehi High School, host of the drama competiRegion 10 one-ation on Saturday, March 25, took first place in the meet. The cast of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" included Natalee Jones, Deborah ct Christiansen,' Rusty Monson, Joshua Cox, David Magnusson, Bosko' Jason and Lisa DeGraffenreid; the latter two were also named best character actor and actress, respectively. In the drama competition held on March 1, the following students also qualified for the state meet in April: J ames Parker and Ashly Jacobs in "Where Have All the Lightning Bugs Gone;" Sara Densmore and Rusty Monson in "Rainmaker;" and Jason Bosko and Joshua Cox in "The Good Doctor." Chosen as alternates were David Magnusson and Erika Murphy; Ryan White and Amy Jo Walker; and Erica Jenkins and Patrick Berendson. Winners from Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Orem schools joined together for the ceremony. The nation wide theme, "Dare to Discover," was portrayed in Art, Photography, Literature and Music. The Region Nine Director, Karlyn Norton welcomed a full audience to the ceremony. Musical numbers were presented by Erica Glen, Grovecrest Elementary; Stephan Cranney and Ashley Boulter, Orchard Elementary; Damon Cann, Orem High School; Lena Nance, Lehi Jr. High; Stacey Haynes, Windsor Elementary and Daniel ThompsonMt.
