Peterson recently signed the final contract with National Medical Enterprises, Inc., allowing the private firm to build a adult and adolescent psychiatric hospital in the Us Research Park. The S 1 0 million hospital, to be known as The Western Institute of Neuropsychiatry, will be financed, constructed and operated by Psychiatric Institutes of America, Inc., a subsidiary of NME. The U. Don Moyer, the hospital administrator. Don E. The fraternal twins, Ryan and Jarred Farrer, were born Nov. 25, 1985 at University Hospital, 11 weeks prematurely. Parents Teresa and Blane Farrer took Ryan home from the hospital's Newborn Intensive Care Unit on Saturday, Jan. 1 1 and Jarred was released Sunday. Both boys weighed less than three pounds at birth. They now weigh more than five pounds and are growing and developing well, said Brad Mersereau, U. family practice resident who has been caring for the twins. William R. Keye, associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, said the Farrers had been trying for five years to have a child and were participating in the IVF program for the third time when the twins were conceived. The incidence of twins in IVF births is 20 percent, compared to 1 percent in the general population. Since it was established in 1983, the IVF program has resulted in six pregnancies in women with tubal disease, a 10 percent success rate. The Fertility Center's overall success rate for all diagnoses of infertility is 8 percent.
