A series of recessed panels circle the newly remodeled campus facility. SUSC President Gerald R. Sherratt envisions a panoramic display of college history contained within the panels with photographs from the earliest through the most recent stages of campus history. Four panels have been completed with early photographs from the SUSC Special Collections and color prints by Boyd Redington. Sara Penny has coordinated the display with assistance from Inez Cooper, SUSC Special Collections Librarian. Redington copied the original prints for the Snack Bar display. His color photographs include the College Cabin and a storm over Pine Valley. Kelvin Yazzie was responsible for matting and framing the photographs. The display was installed by the staff of the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery w'here Yazzie works as a student assistant. A third review by the SUSC faculty member concerning the Anasazi Indians is expected to appear in the upcoming issue of the Western Historical Quarterly. Books reviewed Weight hours noted Book reviews by James A. Vlasich, a faculty member specializing in Indian history, have recently been published in two state historical journals. Both books are tribal histories written by Native Americans who reside on their respective reservations. Hours for open weightlifting in the relocated facility beneath Thunderbird Stadium are from 3 to 4 in the afternoon and from 6 until 7 in the evening.
