Show Hurren-Peterson Wedding Tuesday In Logan Temple One of the interesting summer weddings taking place in the Logan temple Tuesday, was that of Miss Connie Hurren of Hyde. Park and Arthur K. Peterson of Smithfield. President Joseph Quinney Jr., performed the marriage mar-riage rites. Following the ceremony, members mem-bers of the immediate families were entertained at a dinner in the Bluebird. The bride and groom left Tuesday evening for a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone park and Sun Valley, Idaho. 'Mrs.. Peterson, a daughter of Bishop and Mrs. C. A. Hurren of Hyde Park, is a former student stu-dent at Utah State and is a member of Theta Upsilon sorority. soror-ity. She has been an employe of the Logan J. C. Penney company com-pany store. Mr. Peterson is a son of Mrs. C. E. Peterson, and is a graduate grad-uate of North Cache high school. He has filled a mission to Sweden, Swe-den, returning two years ago. They will make their horn? in Smithfield. Honoring the new bride, Mrs. C. A. Hurren entertained at a trousseau tea Monday afternoon at her home. Forming the receiving line with the bride, were her mother, Mrs. C. E. IPeterson, Miss Viola Peterson Pe-terson and Mrs. -Mary Thompson, Thomp-son, sisters of the groom. The beautifully decorated serving serv-ing table was covered with a lace cloth over pink satin. The artistically centerpiece was banked bank-ed by pink tapers. Assisting with the serving and receiving of guests were Roma and Rula Hurren, twin sisters of the bride, Marigene Peart, Mildred Ashcroft, Carol Peterson, Peter-son, Mrs. Eulalia Gittens, Mrs. Golda Follett, Mrs. Marjoir Morgan, Mor-gan, Evelyn Seamons, Mrs. Jen-ness Jen-ness Hurrenn and Kathleen Grant. More than 225 guests called during the appointed hours. |
