Show KIRKBRIDE LISTS COUNTY SCHOOL STAFFS Only Few Positions Vacant Enrollment Decline Prompts Transfers. With only "two or three" positions posi-tions left to fill, the Cache county board of education has announced the teacher list for the coming year, J. W. Kirkbride, superintendent, superinten-dent, said Monday. Eleven fewer teachers will be employed em-ployed during 1942-43 than during the past term, he said. Enrollment has been decreasing in several schols and some transfers have been made to meet the trend. The general excellence will be maintained, main-tained, despite the adjustments, I Mr. Kirkbride said. A major change was the transferring trans-ferring of Trenton students, who have previously been enrolled at the Lewiston junior high school, to the Smithfield junior high school. The move will improve transportation transporta-tion facilities and relieve congestion conges-tion at the Lewiston school. The teacher shortage has been felt most severly In shop classes, but the North Cache high school shop is the only one now lacking an instructor, he said. New teachers added to the system sys-tem include Aaron Leishman, physical phy-sical education instructor at Wellsville Wells-ville junior high school; Fred Sor-enson, Sor-enson, agriculture instructor transferred trans-ferred from Smithfield to Wellsville Wellsvil-le junior; high school; Leo P.' Johnson, physical education and health instructor transferred from South Cache high schol to Smith-field Smith-field junior high; John Brdberg, basketball coach replacing Conley Watts at South Cache high; Ruth Bankhead, women's physical education edu-cation instructor at South Cache , .-. high; Julette Cordon, homemaking instructor at Smithfield junior high school, and Theron Anhder, farm mechanics instructor at North Cache high school replacing replac-ing Harold Wadsworth, who has entered the army.
