Show A Wonderful Invention. A mechanic, me-chanic, living ou the shores of J.ake Zurich, M. Theodor Zuppinger, has just invented a mechai ism as marvel ous as the daguerrotype was at first considered to be, the applications of wliich have since become so popular and universal. The machine of M. Zuppiniter is no larger th in the human hand, and perforins the work of an ac complished stenographer. Placed in conta t with the vocal organ, it repro duces the slightest sounds enunciated by the tongue, throat or lips. While one is in the act ol speaking a ribbon of paper is detacned from the machine, similar to that thrown off by the tele graphic apparatus, on which ihe words produced are traced in black in white The mechanism is in nil respects most ingeniousiy constructed, and worthy of '.'eing compaied with the inventions of Niepce, Daguerre and Morse.
