Show Co OPERATION. The public will notice no-tice the new advertisement of the dry goods department of the Co-operative Institution Emporium buildings, in this morning's Herald. The Institution Institu-tion is determined to lead the market in every artie'e of merchandise, and at the various departments the whole sale buyer can make up a bill with case at astonishingly low rates ; while at the retail departments every class of customer even a child can be supp ied with the requisite goods at the lowest market prices. We wish it distinc ly understood that we write this as the result of observation and conversation with purchasers. Not long since the Denver Regiter stated that co operation was a failure here, and that the Institution had never paid a dividend. The Rrgister was greatly in error. Good dividends have been regularly paid, and co-operation is thus farsucc'Stfiil, thit it is receiving a steadily increasing support and the people are continually taking up shares in it. These are simple facts, and we give them as such without comment, for they carrv their own weight. |
