Show THE fence around the campus is at last completed and the Athletic Association now has a splendid place for out-door out This improvement improve improve- ment has placed th the Association about in debt which amount it is hop hoped d to raise by admission fees to the games which the Association engage in this coming season The constitution of the Association provides that members members- shall be admitted admitted admitted ad ad- to all games free so much of this amount must come from nonmember nonmember nonmember non mem ber students and from outside sources There are about students who have not yet joined the Association and we 5 suggest that they be induced md to do so at once This w will ll increase the funds in the treasury to almost the amount required and is therefore very d desirable b but t it is more desirable because all students will then be members of the Association and it will not be t necessary necessary necessary sary to discriminate between members mem bers bersand and non member 1 If Jf the athletic field is managed on business principles and we have no doubt it will be considerable money can be raised for the the Association Formulate strict regulations and appoint appoint appoint ap ap- point an Ian efficient committee to enforce them Give of the Association all the benefits benefits' possible and show that you mean what you you say Students I who will not join in the the A Association so should be shown no more more favors than people who ar are not students Th The The- field has has been beeD improved at the expense of th the Association tion let its members derive the benefit 1 By By all an means la out at least two tennis courts The ladies have been promised them and it is i's but right that they should have them Th The cost will not be very great but even if it were were the girls should be rewarded for the good work they have have- done for the Asso Asso- dation Show them that their efforts are are re appreciated 1 |
