Show Clean Water-In Water-In a city like Salt Lake, where most of of tlie water used for all purposes pur-poses is obtained from the water sees, it would seem to be the duty of all persons to be oareful that no deposits of filth should be made in them, and most assuredly all cleanly persons will do so; but all persons are not cleanly, all persons are not careful, and all persons are not decent, consequently con-sequently a great deal of filth finds it way into the ditches, and the result is that much impurity ia found in the water taken into our stomachs. J.ne lover oi wmeKy may nut minu u ao much, but tho water drinker would prefer good, clean water to drink, and we presume all of us pre-1 fer clean water for our tea anJ coflee; 1 therefore permit the water in our streets to remain clear and pure. In this connection we would warn the little boys to keep out of the ditches. It ia pleasant, no doubt, io "paddle i' the burn," but it ia not decent to do so in the ditches whero people use the water, besides it is not healthy. Parents, keep your boys out of tbo ditches |
