The Horn Sliver Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers met at the home of WS Baxter on Tuesday the 10th. They had a luncheon served by hostess VVS Baxter. Bax-ter. Visitors of the Pearl Tolley home last week were her sisters, Adele andMaude from Pocatello, Idaho. David and Annette Munk, Brandon and Carlssa have just returned from Anaconda, Ana-conda, Montana. David had to go there for some drill- -ing work and Annette and the kids went up to be with him while he was there working. Gary and April Elmer and family were here visiting with Don and Alice Elmer the weekend before last.Gary and April live in Panaca.Nv. Marge Sherwood received word on the 29th of October that her father James Robinson Robin-son had passed away. He had died on the 28th. He, lived in Sonnlng Common, Oxfordshire, Oxford-shire, England. He was 91 years old. Marge was unable to go to the funeral but has talked to her family there several times by telephone. Jim and Marge spent last weekend in Sandy visiting with David and LauraAlle-man LauraAlle-man and family. Linda and John Conway and family of Tooele came down there to visit with them also. Thursday Thurs-day Marge, Rhoda Walker, and Betty Naurse took in the grand opening of K Mart in Cedar City. There was a great exodus of Milford people to the grand opening of K Mart in Cedar on Thursday and Saturday. Probably a lot Friday also. Everyone reported that it was a mad house Thursday with no place to park or no grocery carts to pack purchases in or else you had to wait in line for a long time to be checked out. Cathy Jimenez, Lacy and Natalie spent last Thursday In Cedar. They wanted to so. to K Mart,but it was too busy so they spent the day visiting with Lila and LoRaine Chamberlain Cham-berlain and Jodl Instead. Waima Holm Is in the hospital in Salt Lake City. Her husband Chick spent the weekend up there with her. We wish Waima all the best and hope she is back with us soon. Robert and Kerrie Spur-geon Spur-geon of Denver, Colorado were here the weekend before be-fore last visiting with her parents Mel andSheila Pro-parents Pro-parents MelandShellaProd-zlnskl MelandShellaProd-zlnskl and family. They were on their way toTonopah.Nv., where Robert will be doing some field work connected with his job. They are expected ex-pected backbyThanksgivlng.' In Cedar they visited with Lila and LoRaine Chamberlain and Jodl, and In St. George they visited Cindy and Densel Landy and Bryan. Jimmy and Nadine Watts and Joshua spent a week's vacation in Northern Utah visiting with family and friends.
