Show DILWORTII PARK PLANS DRAWN Rulon Nuttall, president of the Dilworth Park Lions club, announced an-nounced plans had been completed for the development of the Dil-work Dil-work park. The park, adjacent to the Dilworth Dil-worth school, is located on 21st East and approximately 19th South. The development to date includes grading, sprinkling system, trees along the south border, grass in the entire area. Through the cooperation of the club's civic improvement and community com-munity betterment committee and the Salt Lake City parks 'develop-mnt 'develop-mnt committee headed by Commissioner Commis-sioner L. C. Romney, blueprints for a long range program in development develop-ment have been drawn. Club members Leon Frehner, landscape architect, was generous with his assistance in formation of plans, Nuttall said. The civic improvement committee commit-tee is composed by Lynn Margetts, Keith Knight and Byron Sheffield and Leon Frehner proposed the club set a goal for raising funds in the amount of S6000, which club members concurred in and plans for raising this amount are being studied. Clarence Rowsell is publicity chairman of the club. |
