Show CHURCH WORKER HONORED Mrs. Ida Swalberg, president of the stake board of the Relief society, was paid a high tribute and honor at a well appointed party given in her honor at the home of Mrs. Joseph Willardsen Friday evening of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Swalberg are leaving next week to make their home at Salina and the party Friday night was given as a farewell by the Relief society complimentary to Mrs. Swalberg. At Friday night's function all members of the biad, as well as those of the first organization, were present, some thirty officers and friends being present. The early part of the evening was enjoyed in listening listen-ing to a short program and playing games, later delicious refreshments being served. Mrs. Swalberg was presented pre-sented with a number of beautiful and valuable books on church work. The guests present were Messrs. and Mesdames E. L. Swalberg, Joseph Willardson, Louis Larson, E. H. Bard-sley, Bard-sley, June Metcalf, Joseph A. Larson, Lar-son, Allem Park, John M. Anderson, Leo D. Bardsley, Chas. Rasmussen, Bishop Leslie Kidman, Mayor Christiansen, Chris-tiansen, and Mrs. Lewis Gregerson and Uhlan Swalberg. |
