Sunday. Mrs. Sorensen is improving after a near serious accident Monday of last week. Iladley of Ogden brought two of their grandchildren to the Jasper Shaffer home Sunday where they will stay until Friday. They are Gloria and Neal, children of Mr. and Mrs. Don Shaffer. Mr.- and Mrs. Jasper Shaffer and Richard and Mr. and Mrs, Roy Oyler Jr. were up Blacksmith Fork Canyon Saturday until Sunday noon where they had gone for poles. Mr. and Mrs. David Cook and Mrs. Lawrence Cook of Syracuse spent Sunday at the Wendell Hansen home. They also called on Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hansen. Bishop and Mrs. Melvin Smith of Mar Vista, Calif., here for conference called at the J. P. Christensen home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen were in Salt Lake City Sunday for conference and to meet .other friends from Mar Vista. J. V. Christensen went into the Valley Hospital Monday morning for a tonsillectomy.
