Salt Lake has some sharks who are experts ex-perts in their line of business, but evidently evi-dently their Dakota, brethren can give them cards and spades aud win. The following form of a Dakota note is reproduced for the benefit of the violators of the usury laws here: $ 18.... tin or before the day of 18 the subscriber, of township county, state of Dakota promise to pay to the order of dollars. Without relief from au- pruisement, stay or exemption laws, and in case suit is instituted for its collection, anything and everything in my possession can be levied upon and sold, including the last suit of clothes, the si hool bo iks and food of the children, with the coffin or coffins any of the family may be buried in : and in case that every article is sold there remains re-mains anything d;se cn the note, I airree that the service of myself and family shall be sold until the demands of the note are satisfied. And I further agree that in case suit is instituted for its collec- t.on, to pay reasonable attorney fee together with board bills, hack hire, saloon bills, and other i miscellaneous expenses for himself and family and near relatives while suit is pending.
