P follows Resolved That the provision of ot section 2324 of ot the revised statutes of ot the United States which requires on each mining claim located and until untila a patent has has been been issued not less than OO worth of ot labor to be performed or improvements aggregating such amount to be made during each year be and the same is hereby suspended during the calendar year 1919 Provided that no such suspension shall be granted to any anyone one claimant for more than five claims Provided that every claimant of ot any such mining claim in order to obtain the benefits of ot this resolution shall file or cause to be filed in the office where the location notice or certificate is recorded on onor onor onor or b before tore December 31 1919 a notice of ot his desire to hold said mining claim under this resolution Section 2 That this resolution shall not be construed to alter x modify amend or repeal the public resolution entitled joint resolution to relieve the owners of ot mining claims who have been mustered in the military or naval service of ot the United States as officers or enlisted men from performing as asse assessment ast as- as t se s nent work during the term of such service approved July 21 1917 The measure differs from that applying to assessment work I last last year in that it restricts to-five to the number of claims on which no assessment work is necessary but it is understood that an effort now is bein being made in congress to pass another measure removing such restrictions The bill now ii in effect also covers without mention oil locations locations locations loca- loca which are made under the placer act |
