The art students are 12 years old and attend the Taka-tsuJunior High School in Matsumoto, Japan. The subject materials are varied, baseball, showing cleaning, washing and ironing, eating, sports and playing. The subjects in each picture are dressed in Japanese costumes or in the western attire. The exhibition will tour various Granite District Schools for the remainder of the school year. The block print exhibition was arranged through Mr. and Mrs. Kay Kanehara, 3054 East 3155 South, and Mrs. Jack H. Melton. 3299 Mill Creek Road. The region debate meet held at Skyline, the BYU Language Festival, and the Metropolitan Salt Lake Science language Fair served as occasions for the honors Skyline debators took first in the Region 3 Division flace contest with a score of 137 points, over 60 points ahead of second place Olym Foreign language students also racked up victories at BYU last Saturday.
