The pupil must be told what this is, and the principal must keep a reoerd of all oases. Corporal punishment is absolutely V forbidden in the high schools, and with girls in the gram mar school. Rescued From Death. Tho following statement of William J. Coughlin, of Somerville, Mass., is so remarkable that we beg to ask for it the attention of our readers.
