Show THE LEGISLATURE. ' The House. February 23. The Chairman presented pre-sented a petition signed by J. R. AValker and many other citizens of Utah, asking that an appropriation of $5,000 be made for the purpose of defraying the expenses of representing Utah at the coming ex-j ex-j position to be held at London, England, commencing May 1st, 1887; also $1,000 to defray the expenses of representing Utah at the present exposition now bein held at New Orleans. Committee on Manufacture and Commerce. ,,Mr:l?imba11 presented a petition from the citizens of Rich county askin" for an extension of the boundary lines. Committee Com-mittee on Counties. The Committee on Highways reported back the nofiHnn fm-m . o7LC0Unty and recommended that $3,500 be appropriated to said county for the purpose of fixing roads and bridges. Also the petition from the citizens of Rich county, and recommended that $750 be appropriated for the purpose of fixing high roads. The Commmittee on Fish and Game reported back H. F. No. 28, a bill relating rela-ting to Fish and Game, and stated that the requirements of the bill are fully covered in substitute for C. F. No 10 0. F. No." 14, a bill apportioning "the legislative representation of the Territory of Utah, was taken up on its second reading read-ing by special order, and passed to its li-'i1?. by suspension of the rules read a third time and killed ayes 10, nays 10 A communication from the Council was read .siting that they have this day passed H. F. No. 39, a bill in relation to mortgages on personal property, and forwarded for-warded the same to the House for their action. Committee on Enrollment H. F.
