The week opened with a feverish, irregular and very weak stock market, declines ranging between 4 and 2, the. latter New Jersey Central; but Reading and Lackawanna were off 1)4 each, and others fractional amounts. For a time after 11 the prices were strong, and advanced J to , with a gain of 1 in Pacifio Mail and New York Central. Later they became weak and most of the earlier gains were lost.
