Show The Good Work of the " Democrat." The Ogden Herald of yesterday contained con-tained a long letter from this city written by the editor of that sheet. The editor in question was doubtless in the capital for the purpose of getting a place in the Legislature. We are of the opinion that the great northern editor has a spite against the "silent partner" referred to, because that same partner prosecuted Og-den's Og-den's great editor for criminal libel and changed him from a hero and advocate of freedom ( ?) into a common convict. C. W. H. speaks of the Democrat in these terms The Salt Lake Democrat is uniformly considered con-sidered a childish sort of blnnderbus. As a puerile hoax it has been a great success ever 8inoe it discovered (?) an outlet to Great Salt Lake. Its circulation is understood to be very meager. Few read it and fewer still admire it. Editorially it constantly reminds one of school-boy essays. It is believed, however, that the ostensible "editor" of this sheet has a silent partner in the person of a mightily self-conceited ntinmou nhnoo quixotic effort to put himself at the head of a political following under the title of "Young Democracy" has filled his little soul with gall and pusillanimous spleen.
