Show The Diamonds in "Iolanthe." The stage jewels for "Iolanthe" have arrived from Paris, and were imported by Mr. Brooks, of Auerbach Bros., especially es-pecially for this gorgeous production of the charming opera. Mrs. Leviberg wears a massive chain and locket, studded stud-ded with emeralds, saphires, diamonds, rubies and other precious and elitterin" gems of the Orient. Phyllis wears a magnificent bracelet and locket which sparkle with the lustre of diamonds and precious stones. Celia and Fleta are bedecked with flashing chatelaines and lockets in all the richness of an Egyptian queen. Iolanthe, the central star of the galaxy, wears a lovely tiara, or crowning head dress, bespangledwith jewels of the choicest and most brilliant sort. These and the other ornamental jewels for V e coming opera will be on exhibition at the rehearsal to-night in Calder's Music Emporium. Em-porium. Professor Krouse is working untiringly un-tiringly in the preparation of the finest dress opera ever presented in Salt Lake. The singers are advancing in the most promising manner, and a treat lies in store. |
