Show A Pnff for Ogden Nature. While the people of religious inclination inclina-tion visit the various churches, while they are inhaling the incense of fervent worship wor-ship and the eloquence of spiritual comfort, com-fort, it will be well for all of them be tbey gathered in chapel or synagogue, in chathedral or tabernacle to consider that the autumn leaves are taking on themselves the various hues which enrobe en-robe the mountains in purple richer than that of Tyre and in a scarlet brighter than a Cardinal's. And a blue skv is spanned above us, a pure air breathes in our luns fragrance is wafted from the pine hills and freshness is borne to us from the lakesides. Then, why should we not, amidst nature's bountfes, worship nature's God? Ogden Xews, 17th. |
