Show The Boodle Aldermen NEW YOBK Oct 7 William H Miller Henry L Sayles Republicans and William H Kirk and J Farley Democratsmembers of the Boodle Board of Aldermen of 1884 whose cases were placed in todays calendar of the General Sessions Court for the purpose pur-pose of fixing trial days were on hand today to-day with a lawyer When the cases were called District Attorney Martine appeared before Judge Lowing and announced the dates for trial placing plac-ing Sayles first for next Monday Lawyer Newcombe representing Sayles asked for a delay pleading other engagements engage-ments and was finally given a weeks grace The other cases were set down accordingly with the understanding that no farther delay de-lay would be given Sayles trial must proceed pro-ceed on the 18th instant Parley and Millers Mil-lers on October 25th and Kirks on the first Monday of November was the peremptory peremp-tory order issued by Judge Cowing before whom the cases will be brought |
