Show t Under a Wrong Impression II At the circus some of those who occupied occu-pied seats in the reserved chair department depart-ment witnessed an amusing and singu I lar incident Near the top of the canvas was a welldressed gentleman who at I the beginning of the performance seemed bright and lively After awhile however how-ever his head fell upon his breast and he went fast asleep He remained in this condition about twenty minutes when all at once much to the surprise of the men who were near him and quite as much to the horror of several observant ladies he took off his coatI coat-I and in a seeming effort to hang it up dropped it down to the ground underneath under-neath the seats Then he took off his shoes and sent them tumbling after his coat and was about to divest himself of his pantaloons when some one punched him sharply in the ribs He arose with a start and for a moment mo-ment looked blankly around him Then suddenly taking in the situation he turned as red as a rose and swinging from the planks dropped down under I I the seats to get his coat and shoes The sleeping youth was evidently laboring I under the impression that he was in his room at home and was rapidly preparing himself to go to bed when awakened Louisville Commercial t |
