Show Still Protesting WASAINOTON May 3The daily mail of the InterState Commission continues to b very bulky SecretaryMoselytodayreceived a communication addressed to the Commission Commis-sion by the proprietors of hotels boarding houses and eating houses of tho city of San Francisco representing that prices of provisions pro-visions in that city have been enormously advanced the dealers therein alleging in justification thereof the increased rates of transportation roferrable to section 4 of the InterStato Commerce law The increased cost for tho necessaries of life inflicts unusual unu-sual and serious hardship upon oar business and we therefore pray for such relief as may be within the province of the clemency of your board to grant This was signed by the proprietors of about a dozen hotels and about fifty restaurants and boarding houses |
