Show BToTGmcntsof Mr Cleveland WASHINGTON March SAt 7 oclock this morning the mists of night still clung around the Baltimore Philadelphia depot and but few persons were present when the special train bearing the Presi dentelect and his party drew up on aside a-side track in the depot The committee appointed to receive the Presidential train were not on hand and only a few train hands and a half dozen reporters were present The President elect was accompanied by his brother Rev L Cleveland wife and child his sisters Mrs Hoyt and Miss Cleveland his niece Miss Mary Hastings Mr and Mrs Daniel Manning and Col Daniel Lamont wife and two children After a delay of about ten minutes Chairman Berrit and Mr Gait of the inaugural committee put in their appearance and were introduced to the Presidentelect Some twenty minutes were required to secure caniages and it was 7 50 before the party was ready to disembark Mean while the news of the arrival had spread and acrowd gathered around tho Pullman Pull-man car Mariner and stared hard at the Presidentelect who bore the scrutiny scru-tiny with equinimity When the carriages car-riages arrived the party alighted and proceeded pro-ceeded through the ladies waiting room to the north entrance the Presidentelect leading with Chairman Berritt |
