OCR Text	Show The General Gaiuing Strength NEW YORK April 21At 7 ockthis morning the curtains were opened jn General Grants residence At g 20 Dr Douglas left the house He stated that the General slept through the night without with-out disturbing him even that he was much improved after his drive yesterday and that he would go out today As far as can be gleaned from the increased exercise taken by the General the Doctor thinks he is gaining bodily strength the swelling at the base of the tongue however how-ever continues with little coughing
