Show Campus Activities Board to host Easter egg hunt C J rJ e l T f t 4 d dr r f r. r 2 I r Eggs will be disperse throughout an area of Photo for illustration students faculty and staffs staff's children ages 2 12 to hunt V j Anthony White Contributing Writer 10 Its It's time again for the annual Easter egg hunt at the Redwood Campus Children from birth to 12 years of age will be pitted against each other in the therace therace therace race to see how many eggs they can get We dont don't have that much money for forit forit forit it but it is gonna be great fun for the kids said Pauline Fonua Campus Activities Board CAB vice Four different age groups will have there own area to find eggs and run in a competition for who gets what Parents need to not worry about their year 2 old being trampled by a year 12 I Every year the CAB for Redwood puts on the Easter Egg Hunt with a theme This year it is the Easter Hunt Like almost everything CAB does this event is absolutely free to the students students students stu stu- dents and children Thousands of plastic Easter eggs will cover the grass on April 15 Students are urged to have their participants at atthe atthe atthe the Redwood Campus promptly and possibly early This event will be held heldon on a Saturday and will begin at 9 am a.m. sharp If participants arrive at am a.m. they will get nothing l In years past children could hardly contain themselves and even salivated at the thought of all those eggs and the Egg Hunt Cont on Page 2 Egg Hunt Cont from front treasures they contained Board members from all throughout Student Life Leadership will be recruited to hold back the hoards of children until due time While children prepare themselves themselves themselves them them- selves in a stance similar to a sprint runner they will be distracted distracted distracted dis dis- dis- dis by a large white bunny Usually the bunny appears when the first couple dozen children show up The brave soul venturing into the bunny suit this year is Cassie Doom a board member of Redwood edwood CAB She was the he same individual who did it last year She loves dressing up and having fun said Peggy Hoffman a SLL adviser The preparation of this event took a lot of time and energy Previous to the children arriving the day of the hunt board members members members mem mem- bers will be throwing eggs all allover allover allover over the lawns in the Quad The board members will arrive at 7 am a.m. in preparation for the 9 am a.m. fiasco Students are encouraged to bring their children or nieces and nephews |
