Show Salt Lake women's basketball cant can't get passed Snow Snow January 10 2009 Salt Lake City UT The Salt Lake Women's Basketball team 9 7 lost its it's first conference game of the season this afternoon to Snow 82 College 6 10 59 Despite the loss the Bruins played a lot better in inthe inthe inthe the second half improving their shooting percentage to 46 compared to 18 the first half Leading the second half improved offensive output were sophomores Nicole Brady and Dayna Burgess and freshman Kelsey Sparkman Brady had a solid game winding up with 24 points an anti and 11 rebounds She was also 11 10 from the foul line Burgess had 9 points 5 rebounds 1 steal and 1 assist while Sparkman finished with 9 points and 6 rebounds and 4 of 10 from the floor On the other side of the court Snow shot a solid 57 from the floor Abbie Beutler led her team with 19 points 4 steals and 4 rebounds The Salt Lake Women play again at home both bothon on Friday and Saturday January 16 and 17 2009 against Eastern Utah and Colorado Northwestern Fridays Friday's game starts at pm p.m. and Saturdays Saturday's starts at 3 pm p.m. |
