Show Rocky OC Horror ItI ItIC It- It Picture IC I ure Show OW Taryn Koehler Contributing Writer Halloween is creeping in inand inand inand and there arc are many exciting activities for everyone to enjoy But there is one event that young adults adult may enjoy more ore than the family activities and that is The Rocky Horror Picture Show The show will be playing at the Tower Theatre in Salt Lake City on Thursday October 30 at 10 pm p.m. and at 8 pm p.m. and midnight on both Halloween night and Saturday November 1 The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of two kids who get in some car trouble and look for the look for help at the place with the light down the road But little do they know this is the place where Dr Frank N. N Furter is in the middle of all his experiments The play is a rock musical a spoof of science fiction movies and a bizarre story of seduction and sexual confusion The Rocky Rock Horror Show was originally written by Richard OBrien Its first preview was in London England on June 16 1973 The American premiere was in Los Angeles in 1975 The film was at first considered a failure but a year later it made a come comeback comeback comeback back as a success In 1977 audience members started to throw objects like food during the film They also had been talking back and yelling things at the screen This is still a tradition at the show today The film features well known actors today such as Tim Curry as Dr Frank N.
