Show INSTITUTE OPEN TO ALL by Vicki McPhail Contributing Writer r The Institute is a place to togo go to have fun and meet people n said Linda Inda Jensen Historian of the Latter Day Saints ints Student Association Jensen emphasized that the Institute Institute In In- is open to all students regardless o of religious affiliation Th The Institute located at the west end of campus features at atno atno atno no charge a game room and a library where students may come to study Also sponsored are religion classes at 5 for stud students students stu stu- stu- stu d dents and 10 SID for students non-students per quarter This includes unlimited unlimited unlimited un un- un- un limited enrollment Among classes offered this quarter include topics dealing with marriage preparation choral instruction doctrine o and a new offering entitled World Religions Activities sponsored by the Institute and open to the public i feature monthly dances Friday Forums and monthly fireside addresses The forums held at noon each Friday and the monthly firesides held on Sunday evenings are free and will I feature speakers i A Halloween dance to be held at the Institute is planned for October 28 Jensen stated that volunteers are needed to help with decorating and to serve on committees for upcoming events Also planned are are adult single activities and women's ac ac- ac- ac For further information contact the Institute at 1402 n I |
