Show J Western Regional Training Workshop 4 Held e At Educators Educators And Employers Brought rought Together To Focus On Cooperative Education Issues The Cooperative Education Program at Utah Technical SL College recently hosted a West Western rn Region training workshop held at College Center The workshop was sponsored by The Cooperative Education Department of Dr Richard Gritz director of the Mountain in and Plans Center for Cooperative Education at Red Rocks Community College in Golden Colorado and the Association of Cooperative Educators and Employers of Utah The theme of the tile workshop was Cooper Cooperative tive Education in Industry Higher Education A Partnership for Excellence Such notable guests as Dr T. T H. H Bell formerly the Na National onal Secretary of Education Dr 0 O. D D. Carn Carnahan han President of Utah Technical College at Salt Lake Dr Ralph Porter President President of the National Commission for Jor Cooperative Education and Mr Gene Deputy Director of Maintenance from Hill Air Force Base jase were in attendance Other guests from as far away as Colorado Kansas and attended this workshop Major addresses and presentations included s such ch topics as Current Educational Trends in Cooperative Education by Dr T.
