Show Bob Wright Republican candidate for governor failed to show up or send a representative to a West Valley Meet the Candidate meeting held October 27 This is the second time Wright failed to appear in this area being absent from a scheduled meeting at on October 16 Although Governor Scott M. M Matheson could not attend he sent Antony Mitchell Director of Social Services to speak for him Vying for the position of Lieutenant governor are David S. S Monson and Moroni L. L Jensen Monson Monson Mon Mon- son had no representative at the meeting while Jensen was represented Jensens Jensen's representative quoted Jensen as assaying assaying assaying saying The Lieutenant governor has received only one important assignment in the four years he has served The Lieutenant governor needs to work with the governor and the governor must be able to rely upon his assistant Other candidates for state offices legislative seats and school Board of Education were also present M. M Richard Maxfield and A. A Glenn Christensen for the School Board John Hiskey and Mike Stewart for four Year County Commissioner Commissioner Commissioner Com Com- missioner Bart Barker and Aaron Kennard for two year County Commissioner and Steven R.
