Show e I l 4 I Journeymen Lone Tree Henderson Witch 0 Oak ak For Nov N ov 19 Band Battle The second annual Battle of the Bands invades Utah Tech Friday Nov 19 The first blast of battle is set to start at pm p.m. Four bands Henderson Witch Stewart Oak Lone Tree and The Jou Journeymen will provide the I music V Unlike last year all four groups will be on the floor throughout the afternoon and evening alternating their num num- bers Last year a separate group played a certain amount of time requiring intermissions for removing removing removing re re- re- re moving or setting up equipment Admission to the Battle of the Bands is free to Utah Tech students with activity cards All others are the door Jerry Bee DJ OJ for radio will MC the he event Henderson Witch is a four- four member group Scott lead singer Terry drums Jeff Wardle vocal guitar-vocal and andRon andRon andRon Ron Jones bass Probably the most well-known well of the groups coming Henderson Witch is cutting cutting cutting cut cut- ting a record for RCA Locally they have played at the Old Mill Odyssey Mother Earth and will appear in an up-coming up Park City Rock Festival Stewart Oak is another four- four member group and have played together for several years Group members are Bill Bob Barnes Ralph Mason and Boyd Members of the Lone Tree group are Larry Larsen Sam Hampton Craig Baily and Dale The Journeymen have played throughout the state for the past seven years or so They are Nolan Phillips Kipp Olsen Ken Steed and Bob This group will have a light show with its music The walls of Utah Tech should rock with the music of the second second sec sec- ond nd annual Battle of the Bands even topping last sp springs spring's rings ring's Technology Building pile driving Bring a date or come alone or bring a bunch of your friends friends- but come and enjoy a good time Dont Don't forget the date That's Friday Nov 19 |
