L C r L' L b a ai Ll J J r S' S r JU 0 fl y J A f 1 J f i J s si s JC r y i M t r. r f iJ JP sJ r j n t tYS YS 7 n 1 A I r s r r J r f f fr r r S w Sr l rr IV dM S A S y editor Gloria Jorgensen takes a pre distribution peek at Trade Tech's very first yearbook yearbook year year- book and the expression on her face indicates that the book will be interesting The yearbook with a blue cover and gold lettering is expected to be ready for distribution to the next week School y Yearbook Nears bears Completion Distribution Scheduled Next Week Weel Trade Tech's first yearbook should be ready for distribution sometime next week according to school Historian Gloria Jorgensen Even though this is our first firstI I yearbook I think a lot of students are going to be surprised by the quality said Gloria I think its it's something every student can be proud of The Historian who vho edited the yearbook especially praised the Commercial Art and Offset classes for their aid It was vas the Art students students students stu stu- dents and Instructor Bernie Tanner Tanner Tanner Tan Tan- ner who vho designed the pages and I the Offset Printing students who vho did the printing printing and and both groups did a splendid job said Gloria The distinctive cover is blue with gold lettering that reads 66 Commercial Art Instructor Evan Jensen designed the cover Trade is a page book that contains pictures and comment comment com com- ment on the day classes student government student publications activities superlatives faculty staff and memories All material that will vill appear in inthe inthe inthe the yearbook is being kept under wraps We Ve dont don't want vant any leaks about what's in the yearbook to get out before we ve distribute the book said Gloria She added that only a handful of students who vho are binding the book know v what the finished product will vill be like A few v yearbooks will be on sale to students who vho didn't order them early but the supply will vill be lim lim- I The historian said editing the I I yearbook in its first year was vas a troublesome project at times We Ve le got started a little late we weve we ve didn't have the experience of doing one before we ve didn't have enough money and sales of the book didn't go too well veIl because students students students stu stu- dents were vere skeptical about it at first Gloria added She said the yearbook project did have a few v things going for it though We Ve had the valuable help of the Commercial Art class and we had the Offset Printing class to publish the book right here on campus she said That helped a lot Gloria said she hopes the school continues publishing yearbooks in inthe inthe inthe the coming conling years |
