Here is the picture of the victorious Magma Pl m', Safety First team which won the honors at Lagoon on Utah Copper day for being be-ing the most efficient team of the mines and nvlls. Such splendid work was pat on by all three of the competing1 teams. Magna, Arthur Ar-thur and Bing-ham that the judges could hardly decide wlich ton:n was really the superior. The winning honor also carries with it a trip to Rutte, Montana, for the members of the winning team. At Butte the local entry will meet in competition ter-.ms from ell ove the United States to determine which is the champion of all of th-.1 teams. Magna scored 596 points in the Copper day contest of a possible possi-ble 600, so it can readily be seen that they have an excellent chance at Butte. We of the entire Copper district wish to congratulate? this splendid team of Safety men and wish ihem the utmost success suc-cess in their future competition. Standing left to right on the back row are: Scott Hancock, Harold Richardson, and Rudger Aloxnnder. Back row, left lo right are: John Gibson, George Lamp and Don Shaw. |
