Show fineral services held funeral jr ar 1 r glint clint bronson funeral services for julius clinton I 1 bronson better known to his friends as clint were held on saturday i mi day afternoon in the L D S 1 church mr bronson P passed assed f from born this life on thursday morning following I 1 a 24 hour period of illness I 1 following the singing of the j liyan let the lower lights be burning Bur jiing the invocation was of ebli e I 1 aw bartan n Ry 0 11 r a 11 21 1 e B e rus c 1 afis it 1 a la 16 I 1 ie 1 9 iralli 1 bno an n a address iss kiy alberer Al erf cyma followed in which he to told id of his acquaintance with clint bronson over a period of 50 years he told of his affection for this friend about whom he said his good cheer was an eternal quality it is 7 ade ad erful to live it is more won to have achieved the pur p ze aeto to live ile he also said that for any failures clint had there was a great big mantle of charity to cover them he did a great work and left good cheer behind him lie he bore his affliction manfully another speaker dan B per kiris also knew and loved clint bronson ronson he said he considered him a part of this community as much as the trees sage brush and our dear mountains he al also spoke of his courage to face his impaired physical condition as an outstanding ipg quality he paid tribute to mrs airs bronson as a wonderful wife and mother and emphasized qualities that enabled enabled her to make their home life naryce nary he told of clients dints realization of his time to go and of his abiding faith in jesus christ bishop K S summers expressed the appreciation of the family for all that was done for them during their bereavement and also paid laid tribute to mr bronson for his work in the church ile he said that the large number of friends present and the lovely floral tributes were evidence of the high esteem in which he was held the ladies chorus sang my peace I 1 leave with you after which thomas jones of blanding continued on page four FUNERAL SERVICES I 1 continued from page one i offered the benediction burial was in the monticello cemetery with dedication of the grave by karl S barton we are indebted to miss aliss isabelle redd for information concerning the funeral services services since I 1 we were out of town at the time I 1 clint bronson was born on april I 1 10 1882 at huntsville utah ilis his parents were wilmer and marian bronson later the family moved to monticello and on april 11 1911 he was married to mary jones in the salt lake temple to this union were born ive five f children the first being a son who lived only to the age of 13 almost si since nce the beginning of their married life mr bronson was incapacitated pacita ted suffering the loss of his right arm as result of an accident which occurred when he was a young man lie he was dragged by a horse and never fully r recovered ec overe from the mishap ini shap which infected his arm and later other parts of his body his health was poor all through life although he tried to overcome this handicap and always had a cheerful word to say to all with whom he be came in contact A few years ago he began to fail noticeably otice ably although the end came suddenly following a two day period of illness surviving are his widow three daughters josephine smith genevieve heer and margaret halls one son ted bronson one sister mrs lucy adams of blanding and three brothers fletcher monticello ti arch now living in ogden and wilmer who lives in california |
