Show semri IT POINT by MRS GRACE HALL it is real farming weather again and everyone is busy we can hear tractors humming as some are clearing sage brush and others preparing the ground for spring crops mr air and M mrs rs earl wright and daughters laura ellen and helen went to cortez saturday for repairs for the tractor and to do other shopping the summit point community met saturday night at the john peterson home to discuss our road conditions and to send a delegation to meet with our county commissioners ners to ask for road improvements prove ments for our part of the county our school has been closed for two weeks as our teacher had an infection in one of her lungs which kept her in the hospital at cortez for about two weeks but we hear that although she is on the mend she will have to absent from her school for another week paul adams of colo came down two weeks ago and was busy spring his volunteer wheat and burning the sage brush that lie he one bayed two years ago paul got homesick and left saturday as he had left his wife and three little ones at home in ile he has more work to do on his ranch and his neighbors are hoping that he can bring his fam ily here to stay while lie he is work y fro ing on his ranch sa there is a good revival in progress at the assembly of god church in dove creek wednesday there will be special healing services god has performed some remarkable healing through the evangelist mrs clara classon everybody is invited to attend |
