| Show alonce club banuet banquet by isabelle redd the annual banquet of the alon ja club was held saturday night at the home of mr and mrs lloyd barton twenty members with their husbands as honored guests were seated at an L shaped table in the spacious ious living room every club member worked enthusiastically to help the newly elected officers make this one of the most successful banquets ever held mrs jay nielson acted as toastmistress mrs donald evans and mrs alvin mack black gave t toasts to the men which ch were responded to by all the husbands husban as vint lyman entertained with several musical numbers much credit for the beautiful table jable decorations place cards and favors rs is due mrs lawrell jensen mrs melvin frost mrs shirley thompson and mrs jim douglass mrs horace pehrson served the banquet assisted by five waitresses helen and nancy barton marilyn redd hedd sharlene fullmer and laree adams after the banquet all attended the march of dimes ball at a recent meeting of the alon je club the following officers were elected for the coming year pres president icat mrs bert A warren vice president mrs lloyd barton secretary treasurer mrs jay nielson art director mrs melvin frost |
