| Show bluff by PAULINE HAYES several members of the stake relief society board held a business meeting at the home of mrs annie butt the first of the week some of the members member of the st christopher mission were in blanding and monticello on business during the week miss madge hayes spent a couple of days in blanding the latter part of the week little li itle laverne and jerry powell who have been staying in blanding for the past few weeks have returned to live with their grandmother mrs ida M powell again mr and mrs ozro hunt and family and richard nielson drove to moab saturday mr and mrs daniel hayes and mr and mrs doyle went to blanding for the show saturday evening mr and mrs uri uriah ah nielson went to monticello the latter part of the week to meet their son U A who due to ill health has received an honorable medical dis charge from the armed forces mr mi and mrs freeman nielson received a visit from their son milton and his family of monticello on sunday the stake missionaries held services in town sunday in the form of a testimony meeting joe hunt was in charge other speakers were miss lucy harris mrs pearl bayles john kartchner and shirley nielson je hunt played his violin and mr kartchner rendered a saxophone solo during the services prior to the afternoon meeting miss wanda hunt was baptized several bluff and blanding resi residents were enjoyably entertained for a while sunday afternoon at the daniel hayes home with some lovely music with john kartchner of blanding playing his saxophone and rev michael of the st christopher mission at the piano |
